Bike rally held in Hyderabad demanding 42 pc reservation for BCs in local bodies

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Protesting against the High Court’s stay on 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in local bodies, BC leaders and organisations across Telangana have intensified their agitation even as the state government has filed a petition before the Supreme Court challenging the interim order.

A massive bike rally was organised today from Vidyanagar BC Bhavan to Gun Park via Osmania University, under the leadership of Telangana State BC Association President Gavvala Bharat Kumar, urging people to support the statewide bandh called by BC JAC on October 18.
