Bihar: Six-year-old girl found dead, family alleges sexual assault, murder

Patna, Feb 8 (UNI) Even as socio-political unrest continues following the alleged rape and murder of a NEET aspirant in Patna, another shocking incident has been reported from Darbhanga, where a six-year-old girl was allegedly murdered after rape.
Police have arrested the accused, identified as 22-year-old neighbour Vikas Mahato.
People from the locality took to the streets demanding that the accused be handed over to them. During the protest, clashes broke out between the crowd and the police, and the unrest escalated from stone-pelting to a lathi charge.
