Bihar: Rural connectivity transforming villages in Magadh Division

Patna, June 6 (UNI) The Bihar government''s flagship Chief Minister Gram Sampark Yojana (Mukhyamantri Gram Sampark Yojana) is significantly improving rural connectivity and transforming the socio-economic landscape of villages across the state, particularly in the Magadh Division, official sources said here today.
Officials said that implemented by the Rural Works Department, the scheme aims to provide all-weather road connectivity to rural habitations and link villages with major roads, ensuring easier access to essential services and markets. Several infrastructure projects are currently underway in the Magadh region, leading to noticeable improvements in transportation and connectivity.
Sources said the scheme has played a crucial role in enhancing access to education, healthcare, agricultural markets, and other public services for residents of remote areas. The construction of new roads has reduced travel time and improved mobility for villagers.

Rs 17-cr redevelopment transforms Odisha’s Paralakhemundi railway station

Bhubaneswar, Jul 16 (UNI) Paralakhemundi Railway Station in Odisha's Gajapati district has been redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) at a cost of Rs 17 crore, and is among the 59 stations in the State to be upgraded under the programme.
The revamped station is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
The redevelopment, which has achieved 100% physical and financial completion, blends the station's heritage with modern passenger amenities.
