Bihar: Revenue staff awarded 1 year imprisonment in bribery case

Patna, Mar 22 (UNI) A local court on Saturday awarded imprisonment for one year to a revenue staff Mushafir Singh and also slapped fine of Rs 10,000 on him in connection with a bribery case.
Special Vigilance court of Muhammad Rustom sentenced revenue staff Mushafir of Harnaut in Nalanda district, to one year imprisonment after he was found guilty under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act.
Musafir was also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000, failing which he would have to undergo additional imprisonment of one month.

Odisha enters top 10 performing states in rooftop solar installations

Bhubaneswar, July 18 (UNI) Odisha has emerged as one of the top ten performing states in the country in rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG-MBY), registering a total of 1,56,606 installations, including 92,280 under PMSG-MBY and 64,326 under the ULA Scheme.
