Bihar: Noted journalist Bhim Singh Bhavesh to be awarded Padma Shri

Patna, Jan 25 (UNI) Noted journalist and UNI correspondent from Bhojpur, Bhim Singh Bhavesh, a social worker, popularly known as "Musahar (Dalits) ka Messiah", will be given the Padma Shri on the Republic Day on Sunday.
One of the highest civilian awards of the country is being conferred upon Bhavesh for his outstanding services in the field of social work.
Bhavesh, a famous journalist, has been tirelessly working for the upliftment of the Musahar community, one of society's most marginalized groups, for the past 22 years through his foundation Nayee Asha.
