Bihar Guv appeals to people to follow the approach of Buddha and Guru Rinpoche

Nalanda, Aug 28 (UNI) Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Wednesday said that Lord Buddha and Guru Rinpoche served for the welfare of others in a selfless manner and appealed to the people to imbibe similar approach in life with the desire to serve the others.
Addressing the two-day conference on the Living Legacy of Guru Padmasambhava organised in collaboration with the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) and Nava Nalanda Mahavihara here, Arlekar said that after Buddha, it is Guru Rinpoche who made remarkable contribution towards propagation of Buddha Dhamma.
Highlighting Guru Rinpoche’s contribution to the spread of Buddhism and his relevance in the present time, he said that what he had given us needs to be taken ahead by us. The message of Ahimsa and shanti must be spread throughout the globe and his principles have to be propagated by us.
