Bihar Govt transfers 12 IPS officers; five get additional charge

Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) In a late-night reshuffle in police administration on Tuesday, the Bihar government transferred 12 senior IPS officers while five others were given additional charge.
According to a notification issued by the State Home Department , Rakesh Rathi , IG of Technical Services and Communication, has been made IG of the Economic Offence Unit (cyber crime) Bihar. Baburam DIG (personnel) Bihar has been made DIG of Bihar Special Armed Police, North Division Muzaffarpur, while M S Dhillon DIG Economic Offence Unit , Bihar, has been sent to the Prohibition Department in the same capacity.
Abhay Kumar Lal, DIG of the State Crime Records Bureau, has been made DIG cum Deputy Director of Bihar Police Academy Rajgir, while Tauhid Parvej DIG Rail has been sent to CID in the same capacity.
