Bihar govt. directs officers to declare their assets

Patna, Dec. 10 (UNI) Bihar government today directed the officers of All India Services, Central Civil Services or any other service working in the state on deputation and officers of Bihar cadre to declare their movable and immovable assets and liabilities for the year 2025.
According to the notifications issued during the day, the government has directed the officers of Bihar cadre to declare their assets by January 31 while the deadline for the officers of the All India Services, officers of Central Civil Services or any other service working in the state on deputation, and all Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ officers and employees working under the State government have been fixed as February 15.
The government has clearly stated that the departmental action may be initiated against the concerned officer of Bihar cadre if they failed to comply with the orders meeting the deadline of January 31.
