Bihar Governor directs for stern action in Harsh Raj murder

Patna, May 29 (UNI) Taking cognizance of the murder of Harsh Raj, a student of Patna BN College, Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar directed the Vice Chancellor ( VC) of the University, Patna District Magistrate ( DM) and Police Superintendent ( SP) to initiate stern action against those involved in the crime.
The VC, District Magistrate of Patna and police Superintendent apprised the Governor about the incident. They informed that one person namely Chandan Kumar, student of Patna University has been arrested in connection with the murder. They said that the special investigating team was seriously investigating the case.
He asked them to identify those spreading anarchy in the hostels and initiate stern action against them. Arlekar said such antisocial elements and trouble mongers should be under strict surveillance and the police should be apprised immediately in case of any suspicious activity.
