Patna, July 24 (UNI) The Bihar Assembly was adjourned till lunch on Wednesday following ruckus created by the opposition members on the issues on Special Category Status (SCS) to the state, Union budget and for inclusion of state’s 65 percent quota legislation in 9th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
As soon as the house assembled during the pre-lunch sitting, Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav took up the listed business for the day. The opposition insisted to accept their adjournment motions in view of them being of public interest.
The speaker however suggested them to raise the issues at appropriate time to which the opposition members waving placards, posters and banners trooped into the well and shouted slogans against the government.
