Big relief for large UP taxpayers, in-person hearings to be conducted virtually

Lucknow, Feb 13 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Tax Department has decided to provide significant relief to taxpayers in the state, extending in-person virtual hearings for large taxpayers, effective February 20.
The initiative aims to simplify the tax system, maximize the use of technology, and promote ease of doing business.
The decision follows the Chief Minister's directives to make the adjudication process more transparent, timely, and taxpayer-friendly.
