A filmmaker who shifted storytelling from artificial studio spaces to the raw, breathing landscapes of rural Tamil Nadu, he redefined how stories were seen, felt, and remembered.
His films were not just narratives—they were lived experiences, deeply rooted in culture, emotion, and social reality.
