Bhansali Productions unveil teaser for ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’

Los Angeles/ New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions have released the teaser for the upcoming Bollywood romantic drama “Do Deewane Seher Mein,” reports Variety.
The film features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur in a story described as a “perfect love story between two imperfect people” and a “modern romance that feels like a memory you didn’t even know you were holding on to.” Ravi Udyawar directs the project.
Set primarily in Mumbai, the teaser incorporates the classic song “Do Deewane Seher Mein” from the 1977 film Gharaonda, originally sung by Bhupinder Singh and Runa Laila, composed by Jaidev, with lyrics by Gulzar.
According to Variety, Chaturvedi, known for his breakthrough role in “Gully Boy”, has recently appeared in “Dhadak 2,” “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan” and “Gehraiyaan.” Thakur’s notable credits include “Son of Sardaar 2,” “Sita Ramam,” “Jersey” and the Netflix anthology “Lust Stories 2.”
Director Ravi Udyawar previously helmed the thriller “Mom,” Sridevi’s final film, and “Yudhra,” starring Chaturvedi.
As per Variety, the film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, alongside Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, and Bharat Kumar Ranga, in association with Ravi Udyawar Films.
Bhansali’s recent directorial works include “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and the Netflix series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.” His production house has also backed films like “Tuesdays and Fridays” and “Malaal.”
Zee Studios, which is also releasing the dialogue-free film “Gandhi Talks” starring Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Arvind Swamy, and Siddharth Jadhav on Jan. 30, has produced films such as “Aga Aga Sunbai Kay Mhantay Sasubai,” “Pennu Case,” “Rubaab,” “Rahu Ketu” and “Champion.”
“Do Deewane Seher Mein” is slated for a theatrical release on Feb 20.
