Bengaluru man arrested for Rs 7.19 cr fraud involving foreign remittance scheme

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) A man from Bengaluru was arrested by the Cyber Crime Police Station of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) in connection with a fraudulent foreign remittance scheme that resulted in a loss of Rs 7.19 crores to a victim.

Based on a complaint, the TGCSB police apprehended Sunil Kumar Maasthi Rathnappa (35) from Vignan Nagar, Bangalore, for the offence, said a statement from the Director General of Police's office on Wednesday.
