Bengaluru citizens ask CM to suspend tax collection

Bengaluru , Oct 15 (UNI) Residents of Varthur, Balagere, and Panathur have written to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, urging authorities to halt property tax collection until basic civic standards are restored.
In their letter, dated October 13, the Individual Taxpayers Forum, representing local residents and income taxpayers, highlighted serious lapses by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Greater Bengaluru Authorities (GBA) in executing road and stormwater drainage projects.
The residents claimed repeated flooding during rainy seasons due to incomplete and poorly planned works.

Yoga naturopathy research institute to be set up in Andhra
