Bengal CM Mamata mourns Olympian Vece Paes

Kolkata, Aug 14 (UNI) Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today condoled the death of Olympic Bronze medalist Dr Vece Paesand, a member of the winning team at the 1972 Olympic Games.
Dr Vece Paes passed away at a city hospital today at the age of 80.
Father of Indian tennis legend Leander Paes, Dr Paes had been admitted to the hospital on Tuesday with age- related ailments. He had been suffering from an advanced stage of Parkinson's disease.
