Belgium & England secure U-17 World Cup spots

Paris, Mar 23 (UNI) Belgium and England have become the first European teams to book their tickets to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
Both nations have secured top spot – with a game to spare – in their respective qualifying groups for the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and consequently ensured they will be at the newly-expanded global finals, according to a FIFA media release.
Belgium overcame Iceland 2-1 to make it two wins from two in their section, while England edged out Slovenia 3-2 to preserve their 100-per-cent record.
