Behind the Minister's door: The growing influence of OSDs in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Jun 8 (UNI) Few positions within the Chhattisgarh government have expanded as significantly as that of the Officer on Special Duty. Once viewed largely as administrative aides responsible for coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth communication between departments, OSDs attached to ministers have occupied a far more influential place in Chhattisgarh's governance structure.
In many departments, they have become the first point of contact for citizens, legislators, contractors, party workers, and even government officials seeking access to ministers.
