BC reservations need legal action, not political dramas: Chairman Rao

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (UNI) Former Telangana BC Commission Chairman Dr Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao on Wednesday criticised the ongoing Delhi dharna on BC reservations, calling it a political spectacle aimed at publicity rather than a genuine fight for the rights of Backward Classes (BC).
Addressing a press conference at Somajiguda, he said the state government could have filed a writ in the Supreme Court for a swift decision on pending Bills instead of staging protests.
He alleged that the Revanth Reddy government is more focused on political theatre than legal action, pointing out that key reports like the Busani Commission and Justice Sudharshan Reddy Committee have not been made public, while the Kaleshwaram report was released quickly.
