Bangladesh's participation in ISF for Gaza security depends on several factors: Press Secretary

Dhaka, Jan 13 (UNI) Bangladesh's participation in the proposed International Stabilisation Force to maintain stability in Gaza depends on several factors, said Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor Md Yunus.
In his Facebook post, Alam said that Bangladesh, as the world's third-largest Muslim-majority country, has consistently condemned what it describes as the Israeli massacre in Gaza, repeatedly calling for an immediate halt to the violence and the complete withdrawal of IDF forces from the war-torn enclave.
A resolution adopted by the UNSC on November 17, 2025, among other things, mentioned the formation of an international task force—the International Stabilisation Force (ISF)—for stability in Gaza- for handling its post-war security, while an interim international govt called the Board of Peace, headed by US President Donald Trump would oversee Gaza's post-war administration and reconstruction.
