Bangladesh: 7 injured, army vehicle torched in Gopalganj clash

Dhaka, Aug 10 (UNI) A clash in Gopalganj resulted in the injuries of seven people, including five army personnel, and a torched military vehicle this afternoon, media reports said here on Saturday.
The incident occurred near the Gopinathpur bus stand in Gopinathpur union of Gopalganj Sadar upazila at around 3:30 pm, according to our Faridpur correspondent, the Daily Star reported.
Thousands of Awami League leaders and activists have staged a procession demanding the return of party President Sheikh Hasina to the country, locals said.
