Badminton: Satwik-Chirag headline India's returning heavy-hitters at Japan Open

Tokyo, July 13 (UNI) India's big hitters, including Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty, PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen, will return for the Japan Open 2026 badminton tournament, scheduled to start here on Tuesday.
Japan Open 2026 badminton matches will be available to watch on live streaming in India. Asian Games doubles badminton champions Satwik-Chirag will be in focus as they return to the court for the first time since Satwik aggravated a shoulder injury during the opening round of the Indonesia Open in June.
Having missed the Australian, Macau, US and Canada Opens since, the world No. 4 men's doubles pair will look to hit the ground running.

Sai Sudharsan ruled out of Sri Lanka series; Sarfaraz Khan named replacement

Mumbai, Aug 9 (UNI) Sai Sudharsan has been ruled out of the Test series against Sri Lanka, the BCCI confirmed on Sunday,
The left-handed batter, who has been at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru, has made significant progress in his recovery from the right toe stress reaction and is recovering well.
The BCCI Medical Team is closely monitoring his progress. The Men’s Selection Committee has named Sarfaraz Khan as a replacement for Sai Sudharsan for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.
