Babulal Marandi accuses Hemant Govt. of handing over sand ghats to mafia

Ranchi, Sept 12, (UNI) BJP state president and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi today accused the Hemant Soren led government of attempting to surrender control of Jharkhand’s sand ghats to mafias and brokers.

Addressing a press conference at the party’s state office, Marandi criticized the government’s newly framed rules for the auction of more than 500 sand ghats across the state. He claimed the rules were designed at the behest of mafias and brokers, while ministers and senior officials were merely endorsing them without scrutiny.
