B Com student dies after being hit by Scorpio in Jaunpur

Jaunpur, Nov 7 (UNI) An 18-year-old B.Com student lost his life after being hit by a speeding Scorpio near Hauj Pahi village on the Varanasi–Lucknow highway in Jaunpur on Friday. The incident has left the family in deep shock and mourning.
According to police reports, the deceased, Vishal Chauhan (18), son of late Surendra Chauhan and a resident of Karanja Kala under Sarai Khwaja police station, was living at his maternal home in Hauj Pahi village for his studies. Vishal was a first-year B.Com student at T.D. College.
On Friday, while Vishal was out on some personal errand, a Scorpio coming from the Varanasi direction hit him at high speed. The impact threw him onto the road, leaving him critically injured. His relatives rushed him toward the district hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
