Azerbaijan's president to visit China

Beijing, Apr 21 (UNI) At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will pay a state visit to China from April 22 to 24, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Monday.
Noting that China and Azerbaijan are strategic partners, spokesperson Guo Jiakun told a regular press briefing that in recent years, under the personal attention and promotion of the two heads of state, China-Azerbaijan relations have maintained a good momentum of development.
The political mutual trust between the two countries has been continuously consolidated, Belt and Road cooperation has achieved fruitful results, and international collaboration has been effective, Guo said.
