Azam Khan's condition was that Akhilesh rub his nose at his doorstep: Rajbhar

Lucknow, Oct 8 (UNI) Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president and Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar hit out at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on his vist to Rampur today to meet Mohammad Azam Khan, saying the meeting was a result of political compulsion.
Rajbhar said Azam Khan spent 23 months in jail, but Akhilesh Yadav didn't visit him even once. Now, after his release from jail, he remembered Azam Khan. Rajbhar sarcastically said that Akhilesh was worried that Khan and Shivpal Singh Yadav might team up to play some trick.
Rajbhar said Azam Khan still held sway within the Samajwadi Party. "Akhilesh's visit to Rampur was meant to rub nose at his doorstep," said Rajbhar. This shows Azam Khan's position within the SP remains strong.
