Ayodhya Dharma Dhwaj receives grand welcome in Nurpur

Nurpur, (Kangra) Dec 14 (UNI) A sacred Dharma Dhwaj sent by the Shri Ram Temple Trust, Ayodhya, reached Nurpur creating an atmosphere of devotion and religious fervour in the town.
The flag, brought from Nagni Mata Temple in Kandwal, was taken to the historic Fort Ground, where residents accorded it a warm welcome with flower showers and religious slogans. Subsequently, it was ceremonially installed at the ancient Shri Brijraj Swami Temple.
Welcoming the occasion, social worker Pandit Satpal Sharma said the arrival of the Dharma Dhwaj from Ayodhya was a matter of pride and good fortune for Nurpur. He appealed to people to participate in large numbers in the grand Hindu conference scheduled to be held at Chogan Ground on December 25 to mark Tulsi Diwas.
