Awareness campaign across Maha on Safer Internet Day

Mumbai, Feb 11 (UNI) On behalf of Department of Information Technology and National Informatics Centre (NIC), Maharashtra, through the ISEA project of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), an awareness campaign was conducted across the state on the occasion of Safer Internet Day on Tuesday.
The campaign aims to motivate children, women and youth to use the internet safely and responsibly.
Based on the global concept of “Together for a Better Internet”, various workshops were organised at the state, district, taluk and gram panchayat levels.

Start deaddiction counselling & treatment centre on pilot basis in Sangli: Maha minister

Sangli, Mar 16 (UNI) Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister, Chandrakant Patil, on Sunday asked the district administration to start a counselling and treatment centre for addicted youths in the district on a pilot basis and assured to make funds available for this centre from the Social Responsibility Fund (CSR).
