Assam Rifles celebrates veterans day to honour its brave

Nongkrem, Mar 23 (UNI) The Assam Rifles, India’s oldest paramilitary force, celebrated Veterans Day on Sunday, with a grand event at its headquarters here in Meghalaya.
The Rally was organised under the theme "Serving Those Who Served Us” to connect with the veterans, strengthen bonds with them and also acknowledge their contribution made to the country during the prime of their lives
The occasion paid tribute to the bravery and dedication of the men and women who served the force, recognising their invaluable contributions to the nation’s security.
