ASI Santosh Kumar murdered in Bihar

Munger, Mar 14 (UNI) ASI Santosh Kumar, who was attacked by some unidentified miscreants with lethal weapons, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
According to police, soon after getting an information about scuffle between two groups, the ASI on Friday went to Nandlal village under Mufassil police station area.
The goons, part of the crowd, attacked Santosh Kumar and injured him seriously.
The injured ASI was rushed to Munger Sadar Hospital from where he was taken to Patna for better treatment.
However, the cop succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
Santosh Kumar, inhabitant of Bhabua was posted in Munger.
Police said that dix people involved in the murder of the ASI were arrested on Saturday morning.
Earlier an ASI Rajiv Kumar Mall who was posted in Araria was also murdered on Wednesday when he had gone to nab the criminals.
Meanwhile, Bihar Cooperative Minister Prem Kumar expressing deep sorrow over the incident said that the criminals would not be spared and would be punished sternly by conducting speedy trial.
