Ashley St. Clair says Elon Musk offered her $100,000 per month to keep their child’s paternity secret

Los Angeles, Apr 18 (UNI) Conservative author and influencer Ashley St. Clair has said that multi-billionaire Elon Musk offered her a monthly sum of $100,000 in child support, along with a one-time payment of $15 million to keep their infant son’s fatherhood a secret.
According to People, Musk offered St. Clair the money in exchange for her silence about the child, and made similar agreements with other women who sired Musk’s children.
When approached about the revelation by the 26-year-old, a representative for the businessman declined to comment.
In an earlier article by Wall Street Journal, it was revealed that St. Clair's infant son, who was previously referred to as R.S.C., is named Romulus.
The article also revealed the results of Musk's paternity test in the case. According to a report from Labcorp, Musk's "Probability of Paternity" was 99.9999%.
A spokesperson for St. Clair confirmed to People that a paternity test showed there is an almost 100% probability of paternity, as well as the infant's name.
The 53-year-old Tesla and SpaceX CEO is father to 13 children which he is said to have sired with three different women, and some via sperm donations.
In February 2025, St. Clair posted an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that she was the mother of Musk’s 14th child, who she conceived in September, 2024.
"Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause," she wrote at the time.
"I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment," St. Clair continued. "For that reason, I ask that the media honour our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting."
On March 29, St. Clair spoke to the Daily Mail on camera as she handed over the car keys to her Tesla Model S. She told the outlet she was selling the car to compensate for the "60 percent cut that Elon made to our son's child support."
Musk denied allegations that he had “financially retaliated” against St. Clair and her child, reacting to the video of the influencer-author selling her Tesla car for child support money.
The SpaceX CEO said that “despite not knowing” whether or not he was the father, he had given her a good amount in child support.
"I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but I am not against finding out. No court order is needed," he wrote on X. "Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year."
