Arunachal rises as emerging food processing hub

Itanagar, June 24 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh is fast emerging as a key player in India’s food processing sector, driven by strategic initiatives, unique agro-climatic advantages, and a commitment to uplifting farming communities.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu reaffirmed the state’s vision to transform its agricultural strengths into economic opportunities, highlighting ongoing efforts to build robust infrastructure and value chains.
“Arunachal Pradesh is committed to becoming a key force in India’s food processing sector. With our rich natural produce and dedicated farming communities, we are now building the infrastructure and value chains needed to ensure that what we grow uplifts every hand that nurtures it,” Khandu said in a statement.
