Arunachal Pradesh marks Partition Horrors Remembrance Day with tributes, & exhibitions

Itanagar, Aug 14 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh today observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day with solemn tributes, silent marches, and photo exhibitions, paying tributes to the millions who endured the suffering of the 1947 Partition and sensitising younger generations on its historical significance.
In Namsai, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein led a Maun Yatra from 2nd Mile Police Point to the District BJP Office, followed by a photo exhibition.
Calling the Partition “one of the greatest human tragedies in the history of the Indian Subcontinent,” he urged citizens to preserve harmony, strengthen national integration, and work for a united and prosperous India.
