Arunachal leaders take out Tiranga Yatra at Walong, pay tribute to 1962 war heroes

Itanagar, May 13 (UNI) In the wake of the recent success of Operation Sindoor, which struck terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Arunachal Pradesh BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Pema Khandu, along with his Cabinet colleagues, led a Tiranga Yatra in a stirring display of patriotism and unity at Walong, India’s easternmost region in Anjaw, bordering China, on Tuesday.
The Yatra was held ahead of the upcoming Cabinet Aapke Dwar initiative, underscoring the Khandu-led BJP government’s commitment to public outreach and grassroots governance.
Joined by Indian Army personnel, spirited local public and their leaders, the rally culminated at the Walong War Memorial, where tributes were paid to the valiant jawans who made the supreme sacrifice while defending the nation during the Indo-China War of 1962.
