Arunachal Guv appoints 19 MLAs as Advisors to Ministers

Itanagar, June 18 (UNI) Days after the allocation of portfolios to the newly sworn-in Ministers of the Khandu Cabinet, Arunachal Governor on Tuesday appointed 19 MLAs as Advisors to the Ministers in the interest of public service.
These appointments are effective immediately, in accordance with Clause 3 of the Guidelines for appointment of Advisors to the Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh for Public Service, 2020, an 'order' from the Chief Secretary in-charge and Secretary to the Cabinet said.
It was also stated in the order that the Advisors shall hold their respective posts during the pleasure of the Governor, and "shall not be entitled to any emoluments, remuneration, perks and facilities etc".
