Arunachal Governor pays tribute to Kargil Heroes

Itanagar, July 25 (UNI) On the eve of the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) K T Parnaik on Thursday paid solemn tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War who ensured India’s victory over Pakistan.
In his message, the Governor said on July 26, 1999, the Indian Army completed its mission of ousting the Pakistani Army intruders from the Kargil Heights in Kashmir.
“I firmly believe that the supreme sacrifices of our martyrs and the bravery of our war heroes in reclaiming the Kargil Heights will continue to inspire current and future generations to safeguard our nation’s borders,” Parnaik said.
