Arunachal Dy CM dedicates Chongkham Raj Vihara to people

Itanagar, May 22 (UNI) In a momentous ceremony, Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Wednesday dedicated the Chongkham Raj Vihara, a revered Buddhist monastery, to the people of Chongkham, Namsai district amidst the presence of several dignitaries, monks, and community members.
“This magnificent monastery, built in own Tai Khamti architectural design, stands as a testament to our rich cultural heritage and serves as a beacon for the community. The establishment of this Raj Vihara was a long-cherished dream of the Chongkham community which marks a significant milestone in cultural preservation and religious practice,” Mein said.
The Chongkham Raj Vihara symbolizes unity, faith and the enduring spirit of the Chongkham community, the Deputy CM said in his address. He extended heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the realization of this sacred project.
