Arunachal CM announces additional allocation of Rs 100 cr for Police Dept

Itanagar, Nov 8 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday announced an additional allocation of Rs 100 crore for the State Police Department over and above the regular budgetary support.
“We are committed to police reforms, modernization, and addressing any requirements and grievances faced by our police force,” stated Khandu during the 52nd Raising Day celebration of the Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) at IG Park, Itanagar.
He requested the Home Minister and the DGP to chalk out a detailed plan and a roadmap for utilization of the extra fund judiciously for the benefit of the department.
