Arunachal: 39 ILP violators detained in coordinated enforcement drive

Itanagar, July 14 (UNI) In a major Inner Line Permit (ILP) enforcement drive conducted across the capital region, the Naharlagun Police today detained 39 individuals, without valid travel document, for violating the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation (BEFR) Act, 1873.
The drive was carried out under the supervision of Naharlagun Superintendent of Police Dr Nyelam Nega.
The operation targeted several key areas, including Banderdewa, Karsingsa, Naharlagun township, and Papu Hills, and involved coordinated efforts from police teams of Banderdewa, Naharlagun and Papu Hills Police Stations.Labour camps, work sites and roadside establishments were thoroughly inspected for ILP compliance.
