Arunachal: 3 women among four drug peddlers held with over 62 gram heroin

Itanagar, Aug 8 (UNI) In a significant breakthrough in the fight against illicit drug trade, the Arunachal Pradesh Police have arrested four individuals, including three women, allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
The police also seized heroin weighing approximately 62.1 gram from their possession, a senior police officer said on Thursday.
Naharlagun SP Mihin Gambo said that acting on a tip-off received on Wednesday, a police team comprising of officer-in-charge of Naharlagun PS Inspector Krishnendu Dev, SI Vivek Linggi, head constable T Mosi, constables T Haging, Debojit Borah, Tader Anek, Sanu T Raj, Namgey, lady head constable Sange Dirchi, and lady constable Mema Bagang launched a swift operation.
