Around Rs 30 lk seized from Rohingya families in J&K

Jammu, Aug 8 (UNI) Police have detained families of Rohingyas after around Rs 30 lakh was allegedly recovered from their possession in this winter capital of the state.
''The amount recovered is around Rs 30 lakh and it has been seized from the Rohingya families settled illegally here in Channi Himmat and Rani Talab area on city outskirts,'' a police official here said.
He said the culprits, who brought the money, are absconding, but their families have been detained after the seizure of the cash.
