Aromatic crop farming gains ground in Maha as sustainable livelihood

Pune, July 16 (UNI) Cultivation of lemongrass and citronella is emerging as a sustainable income option for farmers in Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Nashik, Pune Rural, Solapur, Ahmednagar, and Raigad districts, driven by rising global demand for citral-rich essential oils, Ecospice Ingredients Chief Executive Officer Sunin Sunny, said in press releases today.

The Ecospice Ingredients company is engaged in the production of oleoresins and herbal extracts in Maharashtra and other states across the country.

Nagpur, Feb 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday emphasized that cancer poses one of the greatest challenges to India’s healthcare system and called for innovations in cancer treatment to reach every corner of the world, noting that “humanity knows no borders.”
