Army's Corps Commander visits Uri sector in J&K's Baramulla

Srinagar, June 25 (UNI) Army on Tuesday said that the counter infiltration operation in the Uri sector of Baramulla district has concluded with the killing of two militants.
The bid was foiled in Gohalan Uri in the wee hours of June 22, when the Army noticed suspect movement along the Line of Control in Gohalan Uri. On the first day of operation, named by the Army as Op Bajrang, one unidentified militant was killed.
Army on Tuesday said General Officer Commanding of Srinagar based Chinar Corps Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, visited the sector and complimented them for the successful conduct of Operation Bajrang.
