Arms, assembly ban order issued in Nashik city till Dec 29

Nashik, Dec 12 (UNI) In order to maintain law and order, city Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik has issued an arms and assembly ban order under Section 37 (1) (3) of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, from midnight on 15 December to 24.00 hours on 29 December in Nashik city area.
The said order will not be applicable to weddings, processions, Taluka weekly markets or funeral processions.
Also, this order is not applicable to police officers, other government officials, employees on duty and persons who have obtained permission to hold meetings or processions.
