Apprenticeship to unemployed in Industries planned: Collector

Kakinada, Jul 21(UNI) East Godavari District Collector Kartikeya Mishra has said that plans were underway to encourage apprenticeship to the unemployed in the industrial units in various trades to serve the twofold purpose of enabling the industries to get quality labour and improvement of skills among the youth.
Addressing the representatives of various industries units at a meeting held at the Collectorate here on Saturday, he said the government was coming up with a new policy to encourage apprenticeships in big way in the industries by supporting it in paying its share for apprenticeships.
Stating that the guidelines for this programme would be received during the first week of August from the government , he equested the major industries and the MSME units to come up with proposals for encouraging apprenticeships in their units.

Bird Watch Survey: 89 species recorded at Nongsaya Lake in Arunachal’s Namsai
