APCC demands centre to sack Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for New Delhi stampede

Vijayawada, Feb 16 (UNI) Alleging that the stampede in New Delhi Railway station is due to the failure of the Government, the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh demanded the Centre to sack Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw.

Talking to the media here on Sunday, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-President Kolanukonda Shivaji demanded a comprehensive inquiry into the incident. He also demanded to enhance ex gratia payment to the bereaved families to Rs 25 lakh and Rs 5 lakh to the injured.
