AP: YSRCP Seeks GLP-Compliant State-Level Animal Facility

Vijayawada, Dec 11 (UNI) YSRCP NTR district doctors wing chairman Dr Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav has urged the state government to establish a GLP-Compliant state-level animal facility in Andhra Pradesh.
In a letter to the Principal Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, on Thursday, Dr Ambati Yadav brought to his notice the importance of establishing the research facility for the medical and scientific community in Andhra Pradesh.
He said the absence of a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)-compliant, state-level animal facility, even eleven years after the state's bifurcation, is a significant gap that hampers the research capabilities.
