AP: Woman, her teenage daughter brutally murdered

Rajahmundry (Andhra), Mar 23 (UNI) A young woman and her teenage daughter were brutally stabbed to death in their house at Vambay colony in Hukumpeta here in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, police said.
It is learnt that an accused has been arrested.
Circle Inspector Kashi Vishwanath said MD Salma (38) and her daughter Sania (16) were found in a pool of blood in their house. After stabbing the mother and daughter, the culprit locked the door and fled.

AP: Rate payers seek relief in high property tax rates

Kakinada, Apr 27 (UNI) The Rate payers association has appealed to the Andhra Pradesh government to provide further relief to the people, by repealing the Municipal Amendment Act 44/2020 and Government Order 198 that enables 15 percent increase in property tax every year.

PM to relaunch the capital city Amaravati works: AP CM

Vijayawada, Apr 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that the works of capital city Amaravati will be relaunched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 2.

The Chief Minister here conducted a meeting at his Vundavalli residence with Cabinet colleagues and senior officers on the programme being organised on May 2 for the relaunching of Amaravati works by the Prime Minister.
