AP: Traffic police seize 98 autos in Spl drive for traffic violations

Kakinada, Feb 17(UNI) The traffic police during the special drive launched on Monday in the city seized 98 auto’s for traffic violations such as overloading passengers, not having proper driving licenses, lack of insurance, speeding, and negligent driving.
The special drive was launched at the instance of the SP Bindu Madhav to reduce road accidents, police said.
Cases were booked against the auto drivers which included eight for overloading passengers, five for front sitting of passengers, 77 cases for overloading of school children, four for not having records, two without insurance, one for not having driving license and one for drunken driving.
