AP: Police swoop on wine shops, book cases for violation of rules

Kakinada, Jan 13 (UNI) The city police conducted surprise raids on the wine shops in the city on Wednesday night and filed cases against eight shop owners for alleged violation of regulations by keeping the shops open even after 10 pm.
Cases have also been registered for allowing the people to consume liquor in the backyards.
Four shops in one town police station limit, two shops each in three town and Sarpavaram police station limits have been booked, police said.
